Scary!!! What really can be done to stop this? I have to admit I feel like a fatalist on the subject!

Yeah, pretty crazy stuff. The thing is, I don’t understand why people feel its okay to give the government so much power. Do people think Watergate or Iran/Contra or no WMDs in Iraq were flukes? I personally think those were just a couple of the rare times when they actually got caught in their lies. I completely agree with Talib Kweli from his song ‘Going Hard,’ “Those who would trade in their freedom for their protection deserve neither.”

Right On Al– at most large protests I have attended there are FBI on the roofs of buildings taking pictures. Our tax dollars are paying for unjust wars and the decay of privacy and civil liberties while the conditions of education, healthcare, and the environment are steadily declining. The future seems bleak– we must resist! If anyone hasn’t checked this clip out, its short and there is an easy to fill in link to send your congress reps. Positive Action can be as easy as a few clicks!

You could certainly see your skills in the article you write. The arena hopes for even more passionate writers such as you who are not afraid to mention how they believe. Always go after your heart.
