Who We Are


It started with a conference call with friends and acquaintances, many of whom did not know each other. They lived in New York, Wisconsin, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Washington, DC, Ohio, California, Illinois, New Jersey and Massachusetts. Concerned about the direction of the country, they wanted to make constructive change, based on the ideals of social justice, liberty and the welfare of all Americans. We dedicate this site to these ideals.

The Preamble to the United States Constitution:
"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

At the conclusion of the Constitutional Convention, Benjamin Franklin was asked, "What have you wrought?" He answered, "...a Republic, if you can keep it."
